在生活里，总有一种人，他们好为人师又自以为是，特别喜欢给别人提建议，对方不耐烦后就会用一句话回怼他们，you are the doctor。
听到这句话，千万别以为表达了你是医生的意思，他们可不是好奇你的职业，他们只是想叫你别再说了。这里的意思其实是我知道了知道了，就你说得对。你是个医生应该是You're a doctor.
与you are the boss不同的是，you are the doctor有不耐烦和反讽的语气。
例句：
To be honest, you need to lose weight now.
Fine, You are the doctor.
说实在的，你现在应该减肥了。
行行行，你说的都对。
you are the man 干得漂亮；你真了不起
you are really something 你真了不起
还记得以前老师教给大家的there you go吗？一起来复习一下吧！其实you are the man的意思和there you go是一样的，表达的也是干得漂亮。
要注意的是，千万别望文生义，把you are the man理解为你是个男人，你是个男人的英语表达应该是you are a man。

在英语里，you are my lobster可不是“你是我的龙虾”，而是你是我的最爱。
外国人认为年纪很大的龙虾还是会手牵着手在海底散步，所以在国外，龙虾的寓意是忠贞不渝的爱情。
外国人表白时也会深情地说，you are my lobster。
例句：

it is your call / it is up to you 你决定
you have the final say 你决定
外国人跟我们说，it is your call，不是提醒你来电话了，而是说决定权在你。
例句：
What's for dinner? It is your call.
晚饭吃什么，由你决定。
I agree that he becomes a regular worker，but you have the final say.
我同意他转正，不过这件事由你决定。
